Description

Admiral Diana is a sci-fi fantasy, romance, mystery, and adventure rolled into one.

We - known as the Originals - created the Clones. They were like a cousin you don't get along with: they despised us; we resented them. They thought of themselves as the intellectual elite. They took the initiative. After discovering an earth-like planet a few light-years away, they used spaceships capable of teleportation: the first humans successful at space colonization were Clones.

They got their wish: they could live apart from us in their Second Clone Republic. But it was the Originals - us - who decided to sever all communications with them. We thought the Clone saga was over. We were wrong.

Now, three hundred years later, they're back because they desperately need our help: something went wrong in their genetic engineering experiments, and unless the error is corrected, extinction is imminent. They want our science - or, rather, the Originals' genius, as they themselves put it - to help them survive. They also want volunteers for their genetic tests. In order to secure our assistance, they're ready to bargain, negotiate, or fight (and, yes, should they choose the latter option, we wouldn't stand a chance; their battleships are equipped with UF, i.e. unified field technology capable of vaporizing entire planets in one shot).

The one thing they hadn't taken into account: whoever created you is, in fact, your Creator. Contempt isn't the only feeling they have towards us.

In this saga WE (the Originals) get to see what we REALLY look like in the eyes of a "third party." We are vain, flaky, shallow, boastful, perfidious, dense, ridiculous - and alluring. They can't help admiring us. THEY may look like gods and goddesses; we ARE their gods. Are we merciful?
