Purpose: Audio-Digest Foundation CME/CE activities are designed to provide its learners - physicians and other healthcare professionals - with continuing education that will help identify clinical problems in their practice settings, provide content to help to solve those problems, and increase their application of knowledge to practice.

Educational Objectives
The goal of this program is to improve the management of acute gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB) and vaginal bleeding in pregnancy. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Compare the diagnosis and management of upper GIB (UGIB) to that of lower GIB (LGIB).
2. Choose the appropriate agent to treat variceal bleeding.
3. Utilize the management algorithm for massive LGIB.
4. Describe the risk factors for ectopic pregnancy.
5. Recognize the 2 most important causes of second-trimester bleeding.
