The goal of this program is to improve management of epilepsy and restless legs syndrome. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:

1: Define the different types of seizures in epilepsy.

2: Discuss traditional and new drug treatments for epilepsy, including their effectiveness and side effects.

3: Recognize special issues in the treatment of women with epilepsy.

4: Explain the criteria for diagnosis of restless legs syndrome (RLS).

5: Describe the behavior of patients with dopamine dysregulation syndrome.
