The goal of this program is to improve the management of esophageal disorders. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1: Recognize eosinophilic esophagitis (EE), based on symptom presentation and x-ray findings.
2: Describe the pathophysiology of EE.
3: Distinguish among types of dysphagia.
4: Utilize various techniques to evaluate dysphagia.
5: Discuss methods for treatment of esophageal varices.
