Purpose: Audio-Digest Foundation CME/CE activities are designed to provide its learners â?" physicians and other healthcare professionals â?" with continuing education that will help identify clinical problems in their practice settings, provide content to help to solve those problems, and increase their application of knowledge to practice.

The goal of this program is to improve the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), overactive bladder (OAB), stress urinary incontinence (SUI), and use of androgen deprivation therapy (ADT). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1: Discuss the role of minimally invasive therapies (MIT) and the emerging role of laser therapy in the treatment of BPH.
2: List the expected effects, contraindications, and adverse effects associated with the use of botulinum toxin.
3: Review the literature on the role of botulinum toxin in the treatment of OAB.
4: Summarize the indications for urodynamic testing in the management of stress urinary incontinence.
5: Identify the side effects of ADT and outline the strategies for addressing the complications associated with the use of ADT.
