Description
Purpose: Audio-Digest Foundation CME/CE activities are designed to provide its learners - physicians and other healthcare professionals - with continuing education that will help identify clinical problems in their practice settings, provide content to help to solve those problems, and increase their application of knowledge to practice.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia
Bladder cancer
Prostate cancer
Renal cancer
Impotence and infertility
Female stress urinary incontinence
Calculus disease
Interstitial cystitis
Pediatric urologic problems
Penile malformations
Reflux disease
Sexually transmitted diseases
The goals of this program are to improve diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1: Evaluate surgical margins on a radical prostatectomy (RP) specimen using intraoperative assessment and frozen section, and adjust operative techniques as needed based on findings.
2: Prevent anemia in patients undergoing RP by administering erythropoietin-stimulating proteins.
3: Identify patients at risk for urethral stricture after RP and adapt surgical techniques as needed to prevent this outcome.
4: Use medical and radiologic techniques to increase the likelihood of early and successful removal of urinary tract catheters after RP.
5: Critically appraise the role of robotics in RP.
