Description
Purpose: Audio-Digest Foundation CME/CE activities are designed to provide its learners - physicians and other healthcare professionals - with continuing education that will help identify clinical problems in their practice settings, provide content to help to solve those problems, and increase their application of knowledge to practice.

The goals of this program are to improve use of orthobiologics in tendon repair and to improve surgical management of chondrolysis and glenohumeral defects affecting the shoulder. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1: Review the factors that affect healing after rotator cuff repair.
2: Discuss the role of orthobiologic agents in shoulder surgery.
3: Describe the role of glenohumeral resurfacing in the treatment of chondrolysis.
4: List the indications for a humeral side osteochondral allograft procedure.
5: Summarize the surgical technique for an osteochondral allograft on the glenoid side.
