Presented with a particularly nasty series of murders aimed at the prostitutes working Abberford’s red light district we follow DCI Victor Moyes and his second in command DS Victoria Morgan as they attempt to find the murderer.This is the fourteenth in the series set in the nineteen sixties and sees changes to those working under our intrepid pair as Kate Hampton and Don Cracknall take the step up from the beat. The case is complicated by the arrival of a French detective who almost upsets the status quo.
