In an instant the moans, groans and passionate cries from within The Boss's office boomed all over the overhead speakers, electrifying everyone where they sat. Every single worker stopped what they were doing and sat spellbound and mesmerized as they listened to the ardent sounds emanating from behind the closed door of The Boss's office.
Doris went as white as a sheet and stuck her fingers in her ears and closed her eyes and began to hum to block out the sounds.
"Oh god!" The Boss could be heard howling breathlessly. "I'm coming!"
"Oh god-oh-god-oh-god-" Tara Simmons wailed in passionate ecstasy.
"Aaaarrrrrgh!" growled The Boss like a wounded beast.
"Oh god-oh-god-oh-god, oh, oh, oh, oooooooohhhh," screamed Tara Simmons.
And then suddenly everything was silent except for the sound of heavy breathing.
"I didn't know the old bastard had it in him!" Stan Smith said under his breath with a hint of admiration.
"My life is over," Jones muttered and banged his head on his desk.
Tara Simmons emerged from The Boss's office fifteen minutes later. Jones marvelled that her two-piece light grey business suit with its short skirt riding up those beautiful thighs looked as pristine as ever. Not a blond hair was out of place. Her red lipstick was perfect, and there was a sparkle in her eye and a spring in her step. She smiled at Audrey as she swept past her desk but the older woman merely gave her a frosty stare.
"Next time," Audrey said through gritted teeth. "Make sure the intercom is off before starting your... shenanigans!"
