I've always been a "Negative Nancy" even when I don't mean to be. I over-think the consequences of actions and I constantly second-guess choices that I make. Recently I sat down with my family and discussed ways to help me be more confident in myself and in the world around me. My husband knows I am an avid reader so he suggested I look for self-help, instructional novels and learn through them. I've read two or three before this book and I hadn't really learned much to help myself be a positive thinker. When I purchased this book, I admit I assumed that it would be much like the rest, but I was wrong! Instead of a bunch of "fluffy" material, this book was to-the-point practical with tips and tricks that were simple and uncomplicated. I'm already feeling a change in myself as I start to think proactively about my life choices and my family says they already notice the difference in how I approach my choices and problems!
