About the Author: Ekaterina Sedia resides in the Pinelands of New Jersey. About the Guest Editor: Weirdfictionreview.com was created by Ann and Jeff VanderMeer as a continuation of the conversation started with their anthology The Weird: A Compendium of Strange & Dark Stories, which collected a century of weird fiction. The site serves as an ongoing exploration into all facets of weird fiction, in all of its forms, a "nondenominational" approach that de-emphasizes Lovecraft and often focuses on the offspring of Kafka, Angela Carter, and Shirley Jackson -- along with international fiction.
