Anyone who wants to continue their own studies of the Bible can enjoy this book as long as they keep an open mind as to what the author is trying to make point of. I had a difference in the way that the information was presented to the reader. I personally would've used "will not" instead of "can not" for I have based my religion and spiritual life upon the thoughts of "without a doubt". Others may think different from what I have come to know as my own personal information but we're not all the same. Although, the book was well written and thoroughly understandable; I had my own personal beliefs that caught me off guard. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to further their own personal studies of the Bible.

Very interesting title :) This is a lovely book, well written with beautiful stories to illustrate "God's failings" and what He can't do.

Particularly touching story was of the student that goes to church and the actions of the elderly man with his cane. An amusing story was the McDonald's account of the drink thrower :)

All in all, the book is well written with stories throughout to illustrate each point.

The reverend does a great job by reminding us that although the lord is a powerful force, there are still a number of things that we must do for ourselves and take responsibility for in our lives. There's the all important quality we possess as human beings which is free will. Throughout this book you will find a number of splendid short stories that really ring home. All in all a really delightful read from beginning to end :)
