A FIVE-STAR REVIEW:

Subject: A Golden Wedding
I found this book about 18 years ago at a thrift store. I began reading it and at first found it to be very hard to read. After a few pages though, I began to get the swing of the language. A whole new world opened to me. I began to see the old south with new eyes. It no longer was a point in history but, a place that seemed to be just around the corner. I won't give the story away but, let me say that it is a wonderful tale about hard times, misery, happiness, love, loss, and even hope. This story takes you to a better understanding of the times. It will make you laugh and cry. It may even make you angry at time but, you will not be disappointed that you read it. The other tales are enjoyable as well.
