Description
Charles Simeon was senior minister of Holy Trinity Church in Cambridge, England from 1783 until his death in 1836. During his ministry at Trinity, he had a strong passion to help young ministers develop a proficiency in expository preaching. He created a series of over 2500 sermon outlines covering the entire Bible to prepare ministers to be good preachers. It is also very beneficial for in-depth Bible study.
This major work, originally called "Horae Homilecticae" was composed of 21 volumes and was completed in 1833. This first portion of sermon outlines - on Genesis - covers the first 62 sermons. Clarabelle books will be offering the entire series on the 66 books of the Bible in kindle format at the minimum price that can be offered on Amazon, over the next 2 or 3 years. Readers are encouraged to send comments, suggestions or requests for formats other than kindle to clarabelle.books@gmail.com
Note: The original sermon outlines on Genesis were originally published in the same volume along with the outlines on Exodus and Leviticus, composing almost 700 pages and hundreds of footnotes. In order to accomplish the daunting challenge of converting the sermons to kindle format, all of the footnotes containing scripture references have been placed in the body of the text and the footnotes have been deleted. The outlines will be published in smaller portions than the original work to make editing more manageable.
