Description
A rare book, a collection of 11 fairy tales, with original illustrations from the 1st edition 1910.
Wilhelm Hauff (1802 - 1827) was a German poet and novelist. Considering his brief life, Hauff was an extraordinarily prolific writer. The freshness and originality of his talent, his inventiveness, and his genial humor have won him a high place among the southern German prose writers of the early nineteenth century. Although his literary and editorial activities spanned little more than three years, he was extraordinarily productive. Hauff's stories rank just behind the Grimm brothers' Children's and Household Tales in German language editions. Some of these stories are very popular in German-speaking countries to this day, such as The Story of Little Muck, Caliph Stork... all set in the Orient; as well as Little Long-nose and The Cold Heart, set in Germany.
This children's e-book is fully illustrated . Young readers will love the charming illustrations, while parents will appreciate the moral at the end of the story. The beautiful illustrations will captivate your child's imagination and bring them back to read it over again and again.
