Brainy and Thumper rush through a forest and up a small mountain to find the special berries that will save their friend Wendy's life. Wendy had been bitten by a giant scorpion. She is unconscious and being carried by Brainy who has super strength.
When the two boys reach the spot where the berries are supposed to be they only find a single berry left. It is enough to help Wendy a little, but not enough to revive her.
They are met by a dog-like creature who tells them that there are more berries in the city. The problem is that the city is inhabited by the night stalkers. The night stalkers are feral creatures for the most part who come out only at night and feast on what human flesh they can catch. Brainy and Thumper see no option and must go to the city to get the berries to save Wendy's life.
In the city they find the berries that save Wendy's life. But now darkness is beginning to set in and the night stalkers are coming out. It will take all their super powers and the help of a stranger in order for them to survive.
