Description

Terror is raging in the west...

The end of the civil war should have brought with it the end of death and destruction.

But for some lawless frontier towns, the bloodshed and violence continued.

Fearless Clem Vance rides south into Texan territory, consumed by the desire to find crook Mark Heller, and to avenge the death of his friend.

He swears that he will kill Heller if it is the last thing he ever does.

But in these times of corruption and uncertainty, knowing one's friends and enemies is easier said than done.

Heller rules through a reign of terror, intent on driving out the settlers, destroying their livelihoods and claiming the land as his own.

Because, as everyone knows, the laws of Washington do not apply in this wild part of the country.

But Heller is a dangerous man to cross, and an even harder man to catch.

With the likes of the Sheriff on his payroll, Clem will need more than just bravery to stand up to Heller and his men.

Does Clem stand a chance of destroying Heller's corrupted empire, founded on terror and fear?

Can he bring to justice some of the most vicious killers the West had ever seen?

And just how far will his quest for revenge go in the Battle of the Nesters?
