First published on Amazon in 2007, Ethiopian-inspired cooking, Vegetarian Specialties offered easy to prepare vegetarian and vegan recipes before Kindle and the Internet brought wider availability of Ethiopian cookbooks to the U.S. The book was part of a first wave bringing Ethiopian style cooking to a wider audience. Once Ethiopian cookbooks became available in the U.S. the print title was retired, with the Kindle version kept active to keep unscrupulous third party resellers from inflating the cost. The Kindle version contains bonus vegan baking recipes which were published at the same time, before gaining wide popularity.
