Professional Baker and Bakery owner Madeline McDougal rolls into Chicago for a "Baking & Sweets Showcase" event. But as fate would have it, no matter where she goes... death is not too far behind. This time, a competitor named Linda Smith dies during the event. It's staged to suggest suicide but Madeline's detective instincts say different so she reaches out to her team back home in Oregon.
