Description

Neil Vance, a Texas Marshal, is on his way to the Badlands via Big Wheel. Word was that Clem Hagberg, a vicious killer, had been spotted there.

Three other Rangers had gone to flush Hagberg out, but none had returned. Now it was Vance's turn to track Hagberg down and bring him to justice.

But Big Wheel is not the bustling town Vance expected. It's deserted, not a sound or movement anywhere. The ghost town is merely a reflection of the fear Hagberg has over the townsfolk and Cranwell Morgan, who runs most things in Big Wheel, wants Hagberg killed, and he wants Vance to do it. What sounds like an easy and rather convenient job soon takes a turn Vance would never have expected

Carla Morgan and Matt Devlin have their own plans... and Vance is simply in their way. When Vance starts to unearth secrets and a trail of deaths, he finds himself struggling against the odds. Greed and an unexpected double-crossing make a dangerous combination. Who can he trust? How can he avenge the deaths of the former Rangers who walked this path?

Hagberg's ruthless killings have no mercy, and Vance is about to find out what that means.
