Description

Karis Booth solves four more murders using her psychic abilities.

The Cross Stitch Puzzle A cross stitch event is being held at the café that Karis owns with her sister. Karis unknowingly stitches the word MURDER onto her fabric.
Realising this is a premonition, she shares her concerns with her sister. If there's going to be a murder, what can they do to prevent it? And will the victim be a member of the craft group? Karis' only option is to consult her police contact. But it's too late. A murder is committed the next day.
Karis soon receives psychic visions about the victim and her life. Hidden messages are revealed in pictures. Secrets are uncovered. Many people had reasons to hate the victim. But which one of them killed her?

A Tragic Party On a Sunday afternoon, a child's party is held at the café. Just before the party commences, Karis experiences a psychic vision in which she sees a shadowy figure tumble down the stairs in the café -- apparently to their death. Concerned for the safety of their party guests, a watchful eye is kept on the stairs to make sure no one uses them. But that doesn't stop a man falling down them a short while later.
The man - a clown called Dazzle - survives the tumble. As the party begins, Dazzle proceeds to insult one person after another. Not long after, Karis discovers his dead body in the kitchen. The police think he died as a result of a burglary gone wrong. But Karis knows Dazzle was murdered, and with help from her friend Peggy, they set out to prove it.

The Book Club Murder The murder this time takes place during a book club meeting at the café. Henri McCallister is the organiser of the book club meeting. An unpleasant man, he is disliked by everyone. He arranges for a celebrity author to give a book reading that evening.
Things turn nasty during the event when the author reads scandalous passages from her newly published book. The characters in her book bear uncanny resemblances to members of the book club. Soon, secrets are revealed, much to the annoyance of the people who've been targeted.
The book club meeting is brought to an abrupt ending, and the members leave. Henri McCallister is the last to go. But he soon returns to the café for some unknown reason. A while later, Karis discovers Henri's body. He's been murdered.
It's not long before Karis experiences psychic visions about Henri and his puzzling past. Her visions lead her ever closer to the murderer.
Death Of A Psychic Theodosia frowned at the cards. "Just a moment. Let me think." She became silent. "Ah. Yes. Now I can see it clearly. You've already experienced a loss, but you're not aware of it yet." "The loss of what?" "Your gift. Your psychic gift. Karis, it's gone forever."
Psychic Theodosia Baker holds an event at the café which Karis co-owns with her sister. Karis doesn't appreciate the impromptu reading that Theodosia gives her and doesn't believe her words of doom.
It's not long before Karis gets a vision which shows Theodosia being murdered. Despite Karis warning her fellow psychic about the murder, Theodosia refuses to take any action because she thinks Karis is lying. Alas, Karis' premonition soon comes true and Theodosia is found murdered at her home.
As Karis looks further into the murder, she discovers Theodosia was a scam artist who preyed upon people's insecurities for financial gain. Some of those people she'd tricked had been at the café on the night of Theodosia's visit. Did one of them kill the psychic? Karis voices her concern to the police, but the new police inspector refuses to think the psychic's death was anything other than an accident. Despite how she felt about Theodosia, Karis feels obliged to find out who murdered her.
