Description
Lily, the teenage witch has just returned to Earth after a short spell at witch school, relearning the sacred rules of her coven. Excited to see her friends and family again, Lily is shocked to discover things are not the way she left them. Her friends won't talk to her, her crush looks the other way when she looks at him, she's off the cheerleading team and weird things are happening all over the place. There's something very strange occurring in the township of Green Valley and Lily doesn't like it one bit. In fact you might say the cute witch with the courageous heart is scared; really scared. And for good reason.
Lily's starting to think that she may not be the only supernatural force to walk the halls of Valley View High, because so many things keep happening to her, (particularly when she is trapped in the Elve's enchanted forest while waiting to meet the boy of her dreams).
What evil force is trying to bring Lily down, and is her witchcraft strong enough to fight such a powerful creature? Or could this finally be the end for Lily and her mission to save the world from bullies?
WARNING: This book can get just a teeny bit scary at times, but only for a quick moment.
The 'Diary of a Wickedly Cool Witch' series is a great series for young girls. It touches on the notion of bullying, self-image, standing up for yourself, caring for your friends and being an individual, in a light hearted, humorous way. It will make you laugh and cry all at the same time.
Lily is just like any other twelve year old girl in the seventh grade. She has a typical suburban family with a crazy mom who has stupid rules, a dad who always has to be funny (even though he's not), a big, dopey brother and a cute baby brother. Life would be pretty normal for Lily if it wasn't for one tiny detail. She's a witch! But no-one knows. But she's not an evil, grotesque witch with wizened skin and gangling nails. She's a cute, little good witch with a wicked humor, who finds herself on a kindness mission everywhere she goes, encountering all sorts of life-saving situations; saving people from their death, from accidents, even saving them from themselves.
PRAISE FOR THE WICKEDLY COOL WITCH SERIES
These series are amazing. It's one of my favourite books on kindle unlimited and I love how it is filled with action, drama and fantasy (I love fantasy books). Please write more!
The title basically says it all but this was very good a mixture of excitement and terror so yeah this was a very good book
Best book in the world. I do not think I have ever read a better book as I am proud to say this book is not just amazing but it's AMAZING also it's so cheap
I thought this might be only for girls aged 12 but as a young adult I loved it and it was so funny with lots of toilet humour I would recommend it for anyone who can just let go and enjoy a fun story.
This book and the rest of the series are great to read and they are all amazingly funny If you have teenage daughters or granddaughters, this is the book to grab them. Readers get to meet Lily who looks twelve, but is actually a 286 year old witch. Lily has a special purpose and ability, but a hard time trying to do what she is supposed to. The book is silly, fun and also takes younger readers into a great story.
The book was so good, I was obsessed with it! It's awesome, very funny and so cute and Lily (the witch) is so nice and I would love to be her friend and this book is very interesting and you just can't wait till the next page. So I would recommend you getting this for your daughter!!
This book was amazing I love witches and I love the book. I chose this rating because the book was really great
This was a very funny and entertaining book that shows bullying can also backfire. It was great to see the tormentors get their just desserts.
