David Vallejo's life was never exactly "normal", but things take a turn for the downright absurd when an argument with his AP History teacher ends in disaster. After getting sent to the office to face execution, David successfully smooth-talks his way into a "plea deal" with the school's leadership. He's let off the hook, which is great, but now he has to perform a difficult, dangerous, and semi-illegal mission on their behalf before the school week ends on Friday. He figures it'll be fun though.

And on top of all that, David also has to find time to: do his homework (good luck with that), spy on his friend and his friend's new girlfriend (all for a good cause of course), research monetary economics (he's doing this for fun, that's not part of his homework), and of course smuggle some dangerous weapons into the state (If you believe what the police have to say about the subject, David denies all charges). And if he gets lucky, he just might be able to discover the meaning of life while he's at it.
