Angels and demons and demigods. Oh, my! What's not to love in this paranormal romance with thrills, suspense, and mayhem! -- Reedsy Discovery 5 Star Review

Left behind from the Days of the Gods. He died but gave up the afterlife with his wife, Andromeda, to protect mortal women from fallen angels -- demons who abuse and kill them. His mother, Danae, named him Perseus "bringer of death" in the language of that time.

He lives life as a reclusive billionaire in Philadelphia, PA, waiting for the next fallen angel to kill a woman. It haunts him to know men kill women every day -- an act otherwise almost unheard of in the animal kingdom. He believes these men harbor a recessive gene from their angel ancestors. Given the right circumstances, they explode in violent action against females. He knows most men who kill women are caught and prosecuted. But that leaves the angels who still appear and murder women with uncontrolled lust and feelings of superiority.

Living under the name, David Danos, Perseus tells his story with wit and self-deprecating humor. Over a long life, he learned to laugh at himself and the foibles of life. Nonetheless, he carries on, fulfilling the commitment he made to his father, Zeus -- slaying demon angels. He hides from police and tries to avoid the Angel of Death who wants to kill him in recompense for slaying all those angels. Life of an immortal demon slayer isn't what you think.

Claire Zebriski lives alone on a ranch and struggles to make a living as a sculptor. When she lost her doctor husband in an American bombing of a hospital in Afghanistan, her life turned in a new direction. When she meets David, it will turn again in ways she cannot imagine.
"The story line is as well done as the characters, occasionally flashing back to ancient Greece, then returning with ease to the present-day dilemmas. The plot moves swiftly and catches the reader in its flow from the very beginning. The author has an effortless, comfortable writing style that makes for enjoyable reading."

"I completely savored this read and highly recommend it to fans of PNR, suspense, thrillers, or those who just enjoy a good story that happens to have supernatural beings. Readers will find some explicit material, as adult situations and language come into play occasionally. Neither is overdone in my opinion and fits the narrative nicely." -- Reedsy Discovery Five Star Review
