Description

Big Love in a Small Town

It takes a special kind of woman to step into her father's shoes and run a multinational conservancy at the age of twenty-six, but Sierra Montgomery has done just that. A trip to the outskirts of Cancun, Mexico, lands her in the middle of a rundown hostel and its adjoining animal sanctuary, a place that her father supported privately for years before his death. Sierra's intent to find out why the sanctuary wasn't eligible for official funding from the conservancy and to withdraw funding from her own pocket is met head-on by the tenacious owner, Jonathan Cavner. After a week of tense discussions about the future of his work, they part angrily with no intention of ever laying eyes on one another again. When thieves attack and injure Sierra on her way back to Cancun, Jonathan comes to her rescue. Forced temporarily into his care, she soon finds herself falling head over heels in love with this magical place, the beautiful creatures that call it home, and the selfless man by her side.

The Sheikh's Girlfriend

Tara coughs from sand in her mouth and realizes that the plane in which she was traveling to Omani just crash-landed in the middle of the desert. A group of nomads get into the plane, however instead of helping passengers, they steal jewelry and kidnap young women, including Tara's sister. Just after the nomads leave, another group of men led by a handsome sheikh, Sofian, arrives to rescue the passengers. Tara is grateful for Sofian's help but they quickly get off on the wrong foot as their personalities clash. Sofian is used to doing things his way and to speaking only to his family members or people who he gives orders to. He gets irritated by Tara as she is always speaking to him about her sister and asking too many questions. Tara notices that Sofian is closed off and cold but tries to find out why he is the way he is and likes the person she discovers underneath that tough exterior. Even though their characters clash and she annoys him, Sofian falls in love with Tara. She is different from everybody he knows. Sofian has been chasing nomads that have been kidnapping tourists for a while, but now it is time to put a stop to all of it once and for all. He makes an even bigger effort to rescue Tara's sister but after he finds her, how will he let Tara go back to the U.S.? He can't imagine life without her.

In Love With a Haunted House

The last thing Mallory Clark wants to do is move back home. She has no choice, though, since the company she worked for in Chicago has just downsized her, and everybody else. To make matters worse her fiancé has broken their engagement, and her heart, leaving her hurting and scarred. When her mother tells her that the house she always coveted as a child, the once-famed Gray Oaks Manor, is not only on the market but selling for a song, it seems to Mallory that the best thing she could possibly do would be to put Chicago, and everything and everyone in it, behind her. Arriving back home she runs into gorgeous and mysterious Blake Hunter. Blake is new to town and like her he is interested in buying the crumbling old Victorian on the edge of the historic downtown center, although his reasons are his own. Blake is instantly intrigued by the flame-haired beauty with the fiery temper and the vulnerable expression in her eyes. He can feel the attraction between them and knows it is mutual, but he also knows that the last thing on earth he needs is to get involved with a woman determined to take away a house he has to have.
