In 1879, Stalker published his best known work, The Life of Jesus Christ, as a "Handbook for Bible Classes." In it, the reader is provided with a beautiful and memorable portrait, with the main features of Christ's life, death, and resurrection described clearly and concisely. James Stalker died in 1929.
