Description
After a deadly crash, high-school student Sam Appleton awakens to find everyone treating him as if he has a mental handicap. Even though he didn't really have brain damage, he follows along and quickly finds himself in a frightening and appalling place: the world of a mentally handicapped individual.
Sam makes friends -- some from his special education class and others from the general population. But his work to unite his classmates is met with significant resistance from students and some parents.
