Before she can truly help anyone, Susan may need to resort to a little murder and experience a bit of Hellfire, but that's to be expected when the threads of time are ruled by sexist macho pigs. Although a sequel is available, THE RELUCTANT TIME TRAVELER is a STANDALONE novel with a definite conclusion. It contains mature subject matter, but it does NOT include explicit sex OR violence. The literary style of the book reflects the period of time in which most of the story takes place -- the 19th century. Some modern readers may enjoy this traditional style of writing, while others may lose their way and be inclined to gouge their eyes out.
