Description
"The Philosophy of Revelation" is Herman Banvinck's critique of monism. Instead of beginning with a particular system of thought, his starting point is that life is so rich, full and diverse that it cannot be reduced to a single factor found within the system itself. He goes on to argue that only a creative, personal God who is both "will" and "intelligence", who both reveals HImself and upholds all things can call a world into existence which is one and yet differentiated.
