Description
After years spent suffering under the erratic rule of General "Mad Bundy" Bohemund, Lord Hagan wins his governorship and retires to the small province of Terbin.
He wants nothing more than a quiet life but, when Turkish forces attack Christian fortresses in the Far East, he finds himself preparing for war.
Aided by a deputy so competent it's suspicious, and faced with one moral dilemma after another, Hagan battles his way through booze and Mrs Tippin's shortbread to provide an army for the King.
It's not quite the retirement he had hoped for, but it beats having to put up with his wife.
