Description

Fifty themed studies enable people of all ages to explore specific topics across the entire sweep of the Holy Bible.

* does God speak today through the pages of the Holy Bible?
* what is God's message on the key questions that life throws up?
* how consistent is God's revelation in the Old and New Testaments?
* can we dare to hop to understand - and to live out - what God is saying to us?
* where will we find the strength?

Unlike many other study materials, this seeks to focus on the Bible itself. It is not so much a manual of theology as a 'guide map' to help the reader explore God's revelation of Himself and His purposes in Scripture. Wherever possible, the studies follow each topic from the Old Testament into the New, giving a clear sense of God's unchanging purposes and making a clear connection with the cross, and new life in Christ. Suitable for both group and personal study.

Inspired by Joe Church's much loved "Every Man a Bible Student" which was reprinted 17 times in English from the 1930s to the 1960s (as well as published in other languages), this is a completely new book, revised and updated, and with much new material.
