There is perhaps no more hotly debated issue in the beloved Christian Church today than the issue of women serving as Pastors, Preachers or even Rabbis.

There are women who believe women should not serve in these positions and that the Bible places restrictions on the ministry of women, and there are men who believe women can serve in these positions and that there are no restrictions on women in ministry.

Beloved Christians say, "A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent", and understand women are therefore forbidden to preach or teach. Is this understanding of this passage correct? Now here is the major dilemma...

All know about the Five-fold ministry, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors (or "shepherds") and teachers. Now, why are there vivid examples of a woman in each of the offices in the Messianic Writings (NT) if a woman may not preach or teach? You see the problem here? By tradition we make the Word of God of non-effect. We will hold on to traditions of men and will not adhere to what the Word of God is actually teaching, very sad...
