* It's written in the first person, as Rusty has quite a way with words.
* The parts that are not really true are those where he talks to other animals.
* Actual photographs are use to illustrate the story, and yes! Some have been photo-shopped.

Rusty Nails in the Goldfields
Follow Rusty Nails as he wanders around Australias goldfields with his best mate, Pete, as they prospect for gold in every state.
He gets into all sorts of trouble, including nearly being taken by a huge Wedge-tailed Eagle on the edge of Lake Carey in Western Australia.
Becomes quite a hero when he rescues two little girls from an angry Black Swan, and then by finding a lost cat.
Then has to give up that lifestyle when Pete's knees got too sore, and the ground got too hard to dig!
Finally, just what he thinks about retirement!
