Description
"You don't have to be a millionaire to leave a legacy." In this collection of poetry and memoir, The Maryville Vineyard Writers Workshop attempts to capture bits of their own histories as part of their legacies. Within these pages, you'll find childhood stories, character sketches, life-changing events, and family legends, as well as 91-word memoirs and poetry.
By uncovering personal stories, one comes to new realizations about what shapes a life. While sharing these defining moments is not always easy, the process of writing and sharing undoubtedly draws people closer together, as they came to appreciate each experience, discovering each other's backgrounds. Everyone has a story to tell, and it has been gratifying to hear/read so much rich history straight from the source. It is their hope/prayer that as you read these stories, that you will be encouraged to do the same for your family and friends.
