Description

A Pat on the Head, set in 1928, tells the tale of a simple farm labourer who is cajoled by his radically socialist vegetarian girlfriend into freeing an affable calf, Agnus, from the murderous clutches of a sociopathic farmer, thereby unleashing a fearsome torrent of forbidden secrets and murder most foul on the sleepy Somerset village of Cucklingham. The question is, when the roast potatoes are served on Boxing Day, how will Agnus be feeling about being invited to lunch... ?!?!
