There are also lesser known saints such as Athanasius of Alexandria whose words are repeated 1,600 years after his death, and Pauli Murray, the poet, lawyer and priest who broke barriers decades before her time.
They are heroes to encourage us in our darkest days and challenge us to do our greatest work for the greatest story ever told.
