This is science fiction book about an extinction alien released from the deep ocean. The fiend is in control of time and sets out to kill everyone in a small town. The story moves along quickly and the enemy grows in numbers while the danger becomes much more precarious. The whole world is laid to waste but somehow the war of wits keeps on going.
