Description: David Consulting Group (DCG) launched its free Trusted Advisor service in July 2011, accessible on the DCG website. Trusted Advisor addresses the complex concerns IT professionals face, providing easy-to-understand research that guides decision-making and offers a competitive advantage.

The topic of each monthly Trusted Advisor report is selected from a backlog of member-submitted questions; each month members vote on the question they would like to have researched from the Question Backlog. The question with the most votes is then researched by DCG's team of experts.

CIOs, CFOs and eligible IT and software development managers can subscribe to the DCG Trusted Advisor service on an annual basis at no cost, with sufficient "credits" to read all the monthly reports, vote on new reports every month and submit two questions per year. Every month, DCG provides a researched response to the selected question. Each report is an executive summary of two-to-five pages.

The research, writing and editing of the reports is very much a team effort from the DCG Consulting Team. Annually, DCG packages the reports in a publication format.
