Two things seventeen-year-old Ashley Devoe will learn: Things aren't always what they seem, and curiosity can get you killed.
Ashley's dad has moved out, leaving her stuck with her overprotective mother. As if that wasn't bad enough, her dad's so-called friend seems interested in her mom, making Ashley's life even more miserable.
