Description
I wrote Lloyd almost seven years ago before we started to really acknowledge Bad mental Health in the UK was a HUGE problem. (Even now we don't quite understand its scale or rate of escalation)
I was suffering from depression and anxiety in waves but always finding a sense of humour somewhere through Lloyds trials...
Thats because however messed up the thoughts in my my head were, his were always that little bit extra.
That gave me a real sense of gratitude and a fresh perspective on what could be considered funny.
If you find yourself comparing yourself to others on social media and coming up short you will probably relate to Lloyd...
I know I did at the time and still do seven years on.
I also just wanted to say that If social media is making you feel small, get off it, you will be surprised how little you miss out on!
If thats too much to bear, then at the very least, take a break for a while and - to quote a great band - enjoy the silence!
I hope you like the story!
