What others have said about this book: "John Mathews "The Conviction" is a delightful mystery drama. Readers, like me, will enjoy the suspenseful tale so much that they would have preferred that the 77 pages was much longer. This novel would make a stunning movie." - Amazon top 500 reviewer
"The dialogue and details are spot on. Everything from the setting to the characters' clothing is meticulously described. The dialogue is believable and it flows nicely. The characters speak according to their level of education and training." - Amazon reviewer
"A great little story that was exciting, fast-paced, with plenty of action and twists. The characters were well thought out and the end is quite satisfying if you follow the criminal justice system in the US! I highly recommend this book for all crime thriller enthusiasts! - Amazon reviewer
"A short but fun and exciting thriller that takes place in an "abandoned" warehouse. This was a really creative story with very real characters in a situation that seems all too possible. The writing is excellent, there were some great twists, and the outcome was very satisfying." - Amazon reviewer
The Conviction: Enacting Vigilante Justice is a short but incredibly fast moving, action-packed thriller. It captivated me from the very first paragraph and held my interest all the way through till the end. It had lots of twists and turns I didn't expect. The author did a great job in keeping me guessing until the very end. The writing is engaging and easy to read. Most of the characters are not likable, more the kind that you grow to hate but they are credible and feel real. It definitely falls into the 'once you start reading, you can't put it down' category. - Amazon reviewer
