Description
Many people have a hard time reading poetry for pleasure. Some of the most beautiful words ever published go un-read because of false and poor notions about the medium perpetuated by those who have a hard time reading poems, but also by those tasked with teaching readers how to approach it. There's a lot of snobbery afoot when it comes to poetry. "No Fries" is anything but snobby.
"No Fries" consists of 38 poems written for anyone who wants to read them. You don't need an English degree to figure out what's being said here. The subjects are things with which every human being can relate: friendship, love, hobbies, family, sports and even eating. The most simple aspects of our existence often go unchronicled in writing, and yet it's there where we spend most of our lives. "No Fries" is all about these plain yet poignant moments.
