Description
Black mountaineer James Robinson searches the Amazon River basin for a woman he has promised to find. He eventually locates her in a place where things are being done "the old way". It is a slave plantation that has survived into the twenty first century. The plantation owner takes James captive and threatens to hold him as a slave. The owner tells James that, as a "modern" black man, James is not strong enough to live as a slave. James knows that the man intends to see him dead, and that the only way he can survive and escape is to carry out a successful slave revolt.
