Description
In the year 2088, the Pacific Alliance, led by the United States, and the Democratic Federation, led by Russia, are on the verge of war in space. Space has been heavily militarized. Both sides have developed exotic missiles and an elaborate network of communication satellites, reconnaissance satellites, orbiting battle stations, and space stations. The Pacific Alliance has established a permanent base on the moon within Copernicus Crater. Alliance SF-4 second generation space fighters are based there.
From Copernicus Moon Base, U.S. Space Force pilot Sky West and his crew are sent on a special recon mission. They witness a Federation missile tear through space at unbelievable speed. Suddenly, the Russians seem to have a decisive military advantage. Their new hyper-speed missile can fly at 150 miles per second.
Aboard the United States Space Station Vigilance, General John Terry, Supreme Commander of Allied Forces in Space, receives an intelligence report. The Federation intends to deploy the new missile aboard their three space stations, Red Star, Gagarin, and Putin, and the hyper-fast missiles will carry nuclear warheads, breaking the Space Treaty that prohibits nuclear weapons in space. Launched from the three Federation space stations in geostationary orbit, their new missile is capable of striking any target on Earth in two and a half minutes.
General Terry knows he must take action. Full-scale nuclear war between the Alliance and the Federation appears inevitable.
