ABOUT THE EARLY KESWICK CONVENTION:: The early Keswick Convention Meetings started in 1875. These weekly meetings, held once a year, promoted biblical holiness and obedience to the word of God. In the early days people flocked from all over the world to hear addresses by F.B. Meyer, Andrew Murray, Hudson Taylor, C.A. Fox, and others.
This Keswick Convention Journal contains the original addresses as given by the speakers as broken down into the days on which they were delivered. Normally, the Keswick Convention Schedule was broken down as follows:
Day 1- Identifying Sin, its causes, effects and crippling nature within the life of a believer. Also understanding man's trespasses against God, man's wickedness, the Christians sin and man's incredible need for Christ.
Day 2- Understanding Christ's provision, His person and work, the exchange from Adam's life to that of Christ.
Day 3- Repentance, Consecration and Holiness, Abandonment to Christ, and Sanctification by faith.
Day 4- Understanding the Spirit filled life, Christ within the believer and His power and presence/.
Day 5- Obeying Christ's Command to be involved in Evangelism and Missions as a Biblical Mandate
