Description

Stone goes into the badlands of Mexico to rescue an Arizona rancher's daughter who has been kidnapped by a gang of outlaws and gunslingers. Outnumbered at least ten to one, Stone has to move swift and shoot fast to survive this escapade. Following a shootout that left a trail of dead gunmen, bloodshed, and carnage, he might have thought this job was complete. Not yet. There's still more of these varmints in addition to the Rurales to contend with at a place they call The Devil's Skull. This short story from Jeff Breland is an addition to the great western adventure genre in the tradition of Peter Brandvold, Ralph Cotton, and C. J. Petit.
