A thumping family saga: A Yorkshire version of Dynasty or Dallas set in the 1960's and 70's. A fast-paced family saga full of heroes and villains (one lady in particular) which had me turning the pages well into the night.Wow! One of those books that once you get into, you can't put down. The family at Canleigh Hall have one hell of a rollercoaster ride from start to finish. Great glimpses of the Yorkshire stately homes and countryside, mingled with murder, love, sex and yes, rejection! A Yorkshire Dallas!
This is the best book I've read this year! Fast paced and dramatic, with twists and turns and very well written.
Great writing that puts you firmly in Canleigh and the lives of everyone who stayed there.
Wow! Non-stop excitement!Amazing! I couldn't put the book down, wondering what Lady Delia was going to do next, finding myself wanting to scream at her and hug the rest of the family.
