Description
She tripped up a step and fell to her fate.
Comatose for seven years, Jackie lies inside a long-term care facility -- silent, still, and aging in her hospital bed.
Her grandmother comes once a week, to sit at her bedside, and read books aloud, trying to reach her through the endless silence. But then her grandmother dies, and her grandfather falls ill at the gravesite.
Jackie's grandfather finds himself in the same long-term care facility as his granddaughter, having lost the will to fight. With no purpose left to live, he wheels himself down to his granddaughter's room each day, to sit with her and wait for death. Can anything bring back his will to live?
-Crossing the generations, battling back together.
