Description
Inspired by Edgar Cayce's past life readings, The Isle of Horses recalls an Atlantis many will find strangely recognizable. Book One, first in a series of five, introduces Al-Ya, a reluctant priestess in training who discovers her gift of Second Sight while exploring Sacred Geometry and the Tenets of the Law of One. Along the way, she learns about the dangers of the Firestone, Atlantis's energy source, and the truth about beings called "things" artificially created to labor for the benefit of the Atlantean people. Follow Al-Ya as she embarks on a spiritual journey that takes her from isolation to inclusion, from doubt to recognition, and ultimately to the discovery of the true nature of Being.
Excerpt from The Isle of Horses:
"Conditions were the same then and now. Divisions among people caused hate and conflict. Acquisition of enormous wealth by the few was condoned, even applauded, while multitudes lived in dire poverty. The use of destructive energy sources for profit made an ugly world of our beautiful planet.
In the beginning, things were different. Imagine Atlantis as it was then, a vast continent of unparalleled beauty. The Earth had a different tilt and took a different path around the sun. Sunlight shone in rainbow colors, not yellow-white as it does today. Color was more vibrant, plants and animals more beautiful, more abundant, and varied. More than anything, humans were different. Knowing themselves to be interconnected, interdependent aspects of One Being, they lived in unity consciousness, calling themselves by one name: the People."
