Description
Mike Murdock is a plastic surgeon whose policeman brother was murdered by the mob. They disfigured him, threw acid on his face and dumped him in the river. He was found days later. Murdock made a death mask of his brother's face and decided to fight injustice as... the Purple Scar!
Detective Sergeant Stephen Thatcher saw many injustices on the po-lice force. He saw criminals getting away. He saw crooked lawmen. He saw the poor paying for all the evil in society. Donning a fishbowl-like helmet of specialized argus metal, Thatcher decided to take the ill gotten gains away from the criminals and return it to the citizens of Great City as... the Moon Man!
Love, hate, revenge, jealousy can sometimes combine in the minds of the nearly insane to drive him or her completely over the brink. Some-times desire can lead to violence if the situation is right. Sometimes it can lead to murder in the notions of Minsa Van Whey!
After years of war, of brother against brother, of masters and slaves, the country was torn apart. Many of the soldiers were splintered, and too, many of the families. One man wanders the wilderness trying to bring redemption to the ravaged nation, to it's people and to himself. Trans-formed by battle, he has lost his past self and is known only as... Lobo, the Lone Wolf!
Welcome to the Fantastic 4N1, a collection of novellas sharing one single similarity; action! Three characters arise from public domain fig-ures. Purple Scar and Moon Man have their origins in 1930s pulp maga-zines, while Lobo arises from Dell Comics' use of the very first African American comic book character to ever have his own comic book. Minsa is a new character, but has been rewritten to accommodate a wider audi-ence. From its strictly rated R origins, it has been tamed to a strong PG13, while still maintaining all of its powerful personal anguish.
